Lenox Industrial Tools 301 race, the race held in Loudon New Hampshire, within New Hampshire Motor Speedway. After nine months of building, New Hampshire Motor Speedway was ready for its first race. The year was 1990. It also house races for the Loudon Classic motorcycles, SCCA races, and the WKA go-kart. It held the record for being the largest track in New England until renovations were made to it creating the largest track anywhere in the region. NASCAR held its first race in 1990 during the month of July.

Jimmie Johnson would come out of turn 4 to take the checkered flag, winning the 2010 Lenox Industrial Tools 301. It would be Johnson’s fifth win in 2010, tying him with Denny Hamlin as NASCAR reached it’s mid-way point of the season. Johnson, the four-time defending Sprint Cup champion, pulled away to win his second straight race; he took the checkered flag on the road course at Infineon in California.
